Alexandra is a Visiting Assistant Professor of Spanish at Skidmore College.
Her research centers on Latin American irrealist fiction, a corpus that includes science fiction, magical realism, speculative fiction, and the fantastic, from the 20th and 21st centuries with a focus on the Caribbean and Southern Cone. She has built experience teaching courses on contemporary Latin American literature and theory as well as all levels of language acquisition. Her work has been published in Revista Hispánica Moderna and PMLA.
